Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical Mission was established in the year 1967 with the objective to engage in activities, which will result in the development and upliftment of the rural areas and facilities around Kolenchery. The activities of the Mission are of a charitable and philanthropic nature and do not involve ant activity for profit. To bring this to effect the Association established Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical Mission Hospital in the year 1970.
