Surgical Oncology Division started functioning in this centre from March 1996. Surgical oncology occupies the primary and pivotal role in the comprehensive multi disciplinary approach for the treatment of solid tremors in all developed nations. The rationale of the same is multifactorial.
Various types of solid tremors ranging from Head and Neck region to Lungs, Esophagus, Breast, Gastrointestinal system and bone and soft tissues are managed here. Various treatment protocols are designed to suit each case respecting principle of various randomised controlled trails, as per the system involved. |
