Diploma in RADIO DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGY

The department of Radio diagnosis is equipped with Siemens Somatom ARC Whole Body CTScanner, 800 MA Siemens Klinograph E, X-ray machine with Image Intensifier, 640 MA Toshiba X-ray Machine with image intensifier, 100 MA, 60 MA, 20 MA GE mobile X-ray Machines, Allengiers C-arm image intensifier, Wipro GE PRO series color Doppler scanner etc. During the course of training the student will be taught to take routine Radiograph of different body parts and per form spedal procedures such as barium. swallow, barium meal, barium meal follow through, small bowel enema, barium enema, colonogram, intravenous pyelo urethrography, micturating cysto urethrography, retrograde pyelography, endoscopic retrograde choledocho pan-creatography HSG, oral cholangiography, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography, preoperative cholangiogram, T-Tube cholangiogram, myelogram,angiogram, sinusogram, sailogram, Operating C-Arm image intensifier in operation theatre during surgical procedures, CT imaging of brain and whole body.

Eligibility: A pass in Pre -Degree or Plus Two in the first attempt with Physics as one of the subjects. Preference will be given to graduates with Physics as a subject.

Anatomy, Physiology and Radiographic Anatomy  · Basics of Radiological Physics

Radiographic Photography.

SECOND YEAR

Physics of Radio Diagnosis and Equipment  · Principles of Radio Diagnosis and Radiographic Techniques  · Hospital Practice and Care of Patient.

Examination will be conducted in June.
