Services offered by the DivisionThe Laboratory Medicine department deploys latest state of the art machinery. All machines are calibrated with calibration certificate traceable to National Physical Laboratory. Daily quality control checks are performed with daily Levi Genning's plot generation. We have enrolled ourselves into three external quality assurance programs: CMC Velore(India), Equas (Biorad USA) Riquas (Randox USA)

Biochemistry Division
All biochemical investigations including routine special test is done using Fully automated Dry and Wet Chemistry system. Hormone assays are performed using fully automated chemiluminescence and ELISA system

Sample Collection & reception
The sample collection of OPD patients and sample reception from IP patients is handled in this division. Positive sample identification and use of vacuum assisted collection is deployed here.

Complete hematological profiling of the sample is performed here with a 5 part and three part analyzer. Urine examination by automated strip reader and 30 mins ESR output is the highlight of this division

All the machines in Laboratory Medicine department is interfaced either bi-directionally or uni-directionally according to the type and functionality of the instrument. The LIS is connected to the central server for seamless transfer of lab data and reports

A project with neurology department, evaluating the distribution of phenytoin levels in neurology patients undergoing phenytoin therapy |
Total and free PSA levels
Jointly with the urology department, where the correlation with total and free PSA with the biopsy outcome is elucidated. |
Apo Protiens, TFT, Cardiac Markers
Several ongoing projects with various Universities and colleges taken up as project studies by the visiting post graduate and under graduate students |
