Hostels
Separate hostels for men and women with mess facilities are available in the campus. Basic furniture is provided in the rooms. Students are expected to bring mattress, pillows and bed linen. Students will be under the disciplinary control of the resident wardens and the Principal, who is the chief warden.
Accessing information
The parent of each student will be given a unique username and password, along with the URL to a website which will provide the following information:

Attendance during the course of his/her study will be shown for each department comparative to the maximum hours required; 80% of maximum attendance is required for the student to appear for the final examinations.

Internal test scores will also be shown comparative to the maximum marks, as also the total, which will be carded forward to the final examination. The marks that are carded forward will be a percentage of the maximum marks obtained.

Student achievements in sports etc. will also be informed via the website.

Any serious warning issued to the student can be viewed by the parent.

Any other information relevant to the Medical College will be shown from time to time.
This information will be made available periodically, so that the parent can have an up-to-date view of the student's progress. This information is viewable only against logging into the student area using the username and password issued, the password can be changed by the parent whenever needed.
Other facilities
There is a 240 KV substation on the campus and a 24 hour standby generator. There are two wells with perennial supply of water. Purified water is available round the clock. Environment friendly incineration, categorised waste disposal and bio-gas plant using hospital waste are the various facilities available for waste disposal.
There is a resident chaplain and a 24 hour open chapel within the hospital. Other places of worship are in close proximity to the campus.
A well equipped gym and other facilities for indoor and outdoor games are provided within the campus. Facilities to develop individual skills and talents in arts and cultural activities are also available.
In addition to the State Bank of Travancore in the campus, many banks with ATM facilities are present within walking distance from the college.
Health care
Compulsory medical examination is mandatory for all students at the time of admission. Parents and guardians are expected to take corrective steps advised, for any health problems detected during these medical examinations. Immunization against tetanus, typhoid and hepatitis B are compulsory for all students, unless an authentic certificate of previous immunization is produced.
Students are expected to meet the costs of vaccinations, medical examinations, routine investigations and any treatment advised thereof.
Rules and regulations
The rules and regulations of the Mission in general, are binding to the staff and students. A copy of the rules with particular reference to the students, will be given to each student at the time of admission. Students are expected to abide by the discipline of the institution. The Principal / Dean will be the highest authority in all student matters.
