General Medicine

The department of General Medicine came into existence in 1970. We have an eminent panel of doctors who set benchmarks of excellence in diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. The department has an effective role in controlling epidemic and infectious diseases. A five year field study on endemicity of Leptospirosis in the surrounding region helped the department to control Leptospira related diseases.

With the establishment of M.O.S.C. Medical College in 2002, the Department of General Medicine was upgraded with the appointment of more staff and by providing more facilities, especially in the Medical I.C.U and General Wards.

The Department conducts CME's in internal medicine, clinical meetings .The department functions as 4 units .Following is the general OPD schedule of the department .
