Diploma in ANAESTHESIA TECHNOLOGY
Presently our- operation theatre complex consists of 10 modern, fully equipped, centrally air conditioned operation rooms in which the following specialty Surgeries are performed regularly (both emergency and elective Surgeries) namely Neuro Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cancer Surgery, Dental and Facio Maxillary Surgery, Orthopaedics, General and Thorasic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology.

Anaesthesia management, Postoperative Recovery Room care & ICU management comes in the armentarium of Anaesthesiologist.
Personnel are trained to assist anaesthesiologists in various modalities of patient care in the operation room as well in ICU. Besides the anaesthetic management of patients in the operating room, they are trained in intensive care management of critically ill patients, especially patients on ventilators and Multidisciplinary trauma management. We have at our disposal, various modern anaesthetic & monitoring equipments, with real time and trend facilities, which aid us in managing various patients. Analgesia for chronic pain and terminally ill patients is achieved via drugs & various neurolytic blocks. Facilities for painless labour & delivery are available subject to request by patients. The department is Organising Pain and Palliative Care setup for the deserving patients.
The aim of Anaesthesia Technicians Course is to train personnel to assist the anaesthesiologists in various faculties of the patient care, namely in the operation theatre, Intensive Care Units, Labour Suites, Multi disciplinary Trauma Management and Pain and Parliative setup.

Eligibility: 1. Candidates should possess a pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
